Everytime I stop to look around.  I got more to do with this life.
Most of the time I feel like it's not even mine anymore.  But before
you go, just give me one little smile that says in a little while
you'll forget just how bad it was for me.  You see it all just gets so

complicated
and frustrated.
wondering where you put that other remote control.
Intimidated
we've created
something that will teach us that we must let go.

Everytime you lie awake
wondering which pill to take,
everytime you lie alone
I want you home.

Every once in awhile I smile when I think about all the lessons we've
almost learned, before we got turned around and started killing one
another in the halls of our justice system.  We're like a regular
McVey, but hey, I say today, in a way, revenge is cool.  But is it
good enough for you?

I'm so frightened
of the lightening
that I might begin to look for someone to blame.
Trepidation
brings litigation.
It's our favorite way to hide from responsibility.

you're life starts to pass you by.
